"Unnecessary forms in the X-ray department"

About: Leeds General Infirmary

(as a friend),

My friend went for normal check up at the GUM clinic, then she was referred for an X-ray.

She was given a sort of form/paper to state if she had HIV. According to my knowledge, X- Ray staff has no risk at all of contracting HIV as no blood is taken so no needles and minimum physical contact with patient.

I was very disappointed by this form as I thought it was unnecessary for the X-ray department.

Thank you for taking the time to share your friend's recent experience at the X-ray Dept, Leeds General Infirmary.

I shall pass on your comments about the form to the Patient Relations Manager, LGI.
