"Change of appointment"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital

What is the point of giving you a telephone number to ring when no one picks up at the other end. I tried for two days to change an appointment at the Heart and Lung centre (pacemaker dept) for my elderly mother.

I finished up ringing the main switchboard who put me through to the Heart and Lung reception. This is not satisfactory.
