"Desk staff are awful! Expect to wait 1hr+"

About: Birmingham Women's Hospital

Person at the desk has an awful attitude, told me I didnt have an appointment even though they gave it me previously. They are also the slowest I have ever seen with booking appointments or booking you in, clearly doesnt know how to work the computer or system being used! Each time I have attended there is a notice that the clinic is running late, dont be surprised to wait 2hrs past your appointment time!

We value all comments as it helps us to continuously improve our service.

We are sorry to hear that you did not receive a positive experience when you attended for your gynaecology outpatient appointment.

We are disappointed as your experience does not reflect our Trust values, where we pride ourselves on be welcoming and professional, keeping you informed and being friendly polite and helpful.

As a result, we have carried out some training with the team around customer services, and the patient experience reported in Octobers Friends and Family test was significantly improved.

Your feedback assisted us in making these changes.

We are also reviewing our patient waiting times to ensure we are being as efficient as possible.
