About: Charles Clifford Dental Hospital

After 3 years of putting up with a broken tooth and then a painful and infected wisdom tooth which caused chronic earache and sleepless nights, I reluctantly let my dentist refer me to CCDH.

I was dreading having them surgically removed as Id had a previous bad experience and suffer from anxiety in general. However, from the first moment of my consultation with the dental surgeon and their exceptionally qualified team, I was made to feel at total ease. I was consulted throughout the three appointments I attended and made to feel totally in control of every single procedure.

I cannot fault the exceedingly good patient-centred care that the surgeon and team provided. I could tell that they were very caring and experienced as they took the time to listen and understand my worries beforehand. Every case was unique to them, even if they had heard it all before. They also comforted me and stopped immediately if they suspected I was in pain, this made all the difference.

By the last appointment, I had so much trust in them that I hardly felt the 3 LA injections administered, almost laughing at the time. So much so that when the tooth was removed I had to ask twice if it was actually out.

Following a difficult surgery of my impacted wisdom tooth, I was extremely thankful for the aftercare and the seriousness taken by the team about my pain. There was always somebody on the other end of the phone who would listen, reassure and advise.

I was never made to feel like just another job on a conveyer belt. Every single professional I came into contact with at CCDH was kind, respectful and above all competent.
