My husband had a complication with cataract and the surgeon at Manchester Eye Hospital did a wonderful job sorting it out . We did have longish waits sometimes but I'm sure the budget is not elastic and the staff do their best. Today was our longest wait but we found that the doctor's list had doubled due to a colleague assisting at an operation, dubbed the Bionic Eye by the press. In such a case people may be more patient if they had more facts. The information screens in the department could include videos of the marvellous work being undertaken at Manchester, without the blood!
Do a bit more ' own trumpet blowing'. Many thanks..
"Worth waiting"
