My wife, Barbara, had hip replacement surgery on 21 October. Her stay in Ward 11 for 6 nights was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and caring and the food was good. On one occasion she fell over. Immediately the staff came running and that night checked on her every 15 minutes.

On both her and my own behalf, we say thank you to all concerned. The NHS surgeon and ward staff did a great job - well done. The NHS gets it right most of the time, we should remember that.
