"Obfuscation, prevarifiaction & procrastination"

Daughter referred in October 2014. Given the run around with no access to appropriate professionals, no diagnosis and no treatment until she stopped eating and drinking and the Home Treatment Team got involved. First time seen by a Consultant for 20 years in July. 2015 and a diagnosis emerged. Further prevarication followed and now in November 2015 (yes one year later) 3 x 1 hour treatment sessions have taken place but now the latest coping strategy, which was not present at Referral a year ago, is substance abuse.

Every complaint generates another course in a another building and often in another town - 9 at the moment but no join up and no progress. Quite the reverse in fact.

This is an absolute disgrace and our only to choice appears to be to go public and shame them into appropriate action.

We have no idea, unlike say for surgery, who's in charge, we have no contact details or processes for the medical professionals, no idea what's going on and no involvement or attendance at team meetings. Frankly its a complete disgrace.

Wonderful 30 bed new building shortly to open with very expensive resin bonded natrarex style surfaced paths and roads. One only hoped the expenditure here is exceeded by improvements to services.

Go elsewere. Anywhere!

I've remained anonymous so as not to further degrade treatment (if that is indeed even possible)
