"Having found a growth on the side ..."

About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

Having found a growth on the side of my head I talked to my GP who examined the area and referred me to the RVI (Dermatology).

I was very impressed with the new Victoria Wing, and the signs which enabled me to find the Dermatology area. After speaking to the Dermatologist, they recommended a biopsy and I returned in the same month (3 weeks).

The Doctors performing the biopsy (albeit small) made me feel relaxed and calm all through the biopsy.

The results of the biopsy were encouraging that I did not have any form of cancer which was more than a BIG relief may I say.

May I take this opportunity to thank the Receptionists, Nurses and Doctor that put up with me.

Thankyou also to the person at the main entrance who was more than helpful in arranging a taxi home for me.

What could be improved

Nothing.

Anything else?

I did notice there were no public payphones anywhere in the new Victoria Wing.
