"treatment in stroke ward"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Stroke care

(as the patient),

I felt I was treated as if I did not have a brain. My diagnosis was over turned and I was sent home with a life threatening condition. I believe I could have died and was told by a vascular surgeon that it was sheer luck that I hadn't.

I hope to God that I never need to go into stroke ward again. I have had the surgery to save my life with no thanks to the care I received on the stroke ward which I felt was non existent.
