What I liked

I was in the same hospital in 2005 .The service from all the staff (doctors down to serving staff) was totally disgusting .they did not care and would not listern to me at all, so when I was rushed in on 09-06-09 I thought what am I heading for. What a difference the staff in the 3 wards I was in were all brilliant they could not do enough for me . the care I recieved was second to none, every person I asked to do something for me there was not a moan. The staff on ward 18 every one of them was fantastic. I would now not think twice about going back intothat same hospital.

I was saddened to hearing of your disappointment during your hospital stay in 2005. However, I was pleased to hear of your experience in June 2009 concerning your stay at North Tyneside General Hospital as we have tried to make some major improvements to patient care, it is reassuring to hear that you had noticed some significant differences over 4 years. It was very kind of you to write and complement the staff. Thank you for taking the time to write.
