"A very positive happy relaxed experience"

My partner and I were at Torbay for the birth of our son last month. Our treatment by the theatre staff in particular made us feel cared for, relaxed and gave us huge confidence in them as professionals. I had a C-section and have made an excellent recovery in part due to the steps taken by the anaesthetist and surgeon who involved us very much in decisions and allowed us to be as involved as possible. The midwives also went the extra mile despite being very busy to arrange a quiet space where I could introduce my four year old to her new brother. These are the things you remember.
