I had an elective c-section at the Royal Free Hospital. The surgical team were excellent: professional, supportive, caring and kept me informed of what was going on every step of the way. On the postnatal ward the only downsides were the food and a bit of noise at night (other babies crying). But the midwives and also the student midwives were brilliant. They showed me how to breastfeed and were a great help. I would recommend the Royal Free as despite mixed reviews in the past, they seem to be doing a great job at present.
"Great experience of c-section"
