What I liked

I had a hip replacement at Hexham Hospital in April, I was on ward 3. I would like to say that the pre-op care and the advice for 4 weeks before the op was excellent.

The operation, the care and the advice I received from the consultant, the nursing staff and the physio staff completely exceeded my expectations, it was fantastic. I was very nervous of going into hospital - my fears were completely unfounded. I am due to have my second hip replacement and am very confident of going back to Hexham Hospital.

Every person in the hospital at all stages of the operation have a fantastic attitude to the needs of the patients.
