I think that the staff who carry out the audiology tests need to be more respectful to the patients, particularly when they are under 18. these people are tasked with carrying out a particular test or set of tests and have no right to comment on the results before the consultant who requested the tests has seen them. the comments these people make to the patients can have a detrimental affect, undermining whatever self esteem the patients have.

having attended an appointment today with my daughter I was disgusted with the audiologist suggesting my daughter is faking her symptoms, I can assure her my daughters symptoms are a fact of her life and we have tried everything we know to relieve them. The staff need to be more circumspect with their comments.
