"Treatment of my elderly mother"

I would like to thank all staff for their professionalism, care and courteous manner whilst recently treating my 91 year old mother.

She was admitted to A & E where she was not left alone for more than about 10 minutes without someone checking on her.

I saw 3 doctors within the space of 2 hours during her initial diagnosis, each with full explanations as to their speciality and objectives regarding her treatment.

She was transferred through MAU, Heather and Gentian wards during her 10 day stay.

All staff, medical, nursing and auxiliary were polite, knowledgeable and treated her with dignity throughout her treatment despite obviously being very busy.
