I had to stop using this department because of unacceptable waiting times and fear of losing my job.

This impacts my ability to access having my health needs met by this hospital.

The Haematology department in UHL thank you for your comments about the long waiting times which caused you the inconvenience of having your care transferred elsewhere for fear of losing your job. They deeply regret that this has happened and apologise for it. Your comments however will add weight to the current bid of the department, who are aware of the long waiting times faced by their patients, to acquire more staff and to extend the role of existing staff in order to reverse this situation. The staff in the Haematology department in UHL hope that you and future patient will receive a much improved service in the future.
