"In My Case."

I have been attending the neurologist at Derriford for well over a year now and can only speak about my own personal experience. My Case ,like many in this department,is complicated and yes I get frustrated at the time taken to deal with various aspects of my problem. However, I also know that with the myriad of neurological disorders that have to be looked into that there are no quick fixes.

I have no greater desire than to know the nature of my disorder and to start the treatment that may relieve it.

In my case my Doctor has been both diligent and compassionate and I cannot thank them and their staff enough.

I think that sometimes,in our desperation to know what is wrong, we lose sight of our selves.

When feeling sick this is entirely normal but please remember the Doctors and nurses are always on your side, you know how you are feeling and the problems that you are having,Doctors don't know until you tell them, then they must do tests and these take time. In an ideal world we would all be diagnosed in a couple of weeks and well again a few weeks later.

Sorry to say it folks but our world is far from ideal.
