"A &e doctor bedside manner really bad!"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

I had to visit Royal Preston a&e due to an ankle injury, the reception staff were pleasant and friendly, triage nurse and sister were lovely and X-ray team were brilliant with a decent sense of humour however the doctor who saw me in a&e bedside manner was terrible, not only did they rush off in front of me while I was hobbling behind them, they were cold, unfriendly and made an assumption about me, they were rude and when asked for further advise to help me aid my recovery insulted me then just walked out and left me to find my own way back to the a&e reception area, the experience of having to my them as my doctor was lasting leaving me in tears all day after being seen by them. Such a shame as the rest of the staff I encountered were Brilliant.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and for your kind sentiments about the receptionists and nursing staff. I'm so sorry to hear that your positive experience was marred by the manner and behaviour of one member of staff. Please be assured that your comments have been shared with the Clinicial Director for the Emergency Department.
