About: Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust / The Woodlands (inpatient unit for substance misuse)

(as the patient),

Went in for a detox on 2 months ago. It was scary at first but everyone made me feel very welcome. The facilities were a lot better than expected, and even though everyone complained about the food, I didn't think it was too bad

(except the pastys! : -( )

The team were always kind and happy to help. A special thanks to Shaun & Amy who went out of their way in their own time to help not just me but other patients as well.

Thanks for your feedback! We do indeed have some fantastic members of staff in Shaun and Amy, I'll make sure they get to see this. I'm sure they'd echo my sentiment in that it's so good to hear that you are doing well and continue on your road to recovery.
