"A & E"

I attended A & E with my son last week and was very impressed with the care and staff at A & E from the moment of arriving at the reception desk to being discharged.

In particular I would like to mention a Nurse within A & E who was fantastic and went beyond their role to make everyone very welcome and reassured.

I was quite worried about my young son and the nurse was very calming and reassuring to me and took time to keep checking we were both ok in between seeing other patients.

I witnessed them with other patients in the reception area and everyone had the same opinion.

What a credit to the team, department and hospital.

I would appreciate this being passed on to them to have recognition of their care.

They deserve credit and an excellent appraisal for customer care.
