"No duty"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton)

I can't understand how when my family member almost kills herself that Musgrove park staff watch her walk out and try it again knowing she's unwell.

One day shortly, we will have no mum after trying to ask them to contact us, they don't even give us a call to say she's been discharged in the early hours or late in the night, even though she's still suicidal.

She's given no follow up whatsoever. By anyone. It's a miracle she hasn't walked into traffic or been abused.

It's a worrying state. No joy with the PALS services, they are toothless and nothing changes so don't want any offer to call them thanks. Have no faith in them.

I am very sorry to read of your concerns. It is not possible to comment on this case without further detail – it is suggested the family contact either Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust PALS on 01278 432022 or the Crisis Team Manager on 01823 368398 in order to discuss this incident in confidence.
