"Mental Health services in coventry"

About: Coventry And Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust / Adult mental health

(as a service user),

In may 2015 I went to my gp regarding my mental health which I have had problems with for 8 years. I rang the crisis team who were great and very helpful. The problem is after that. I had to wait over 12 weeks to see someone as an outpatient in the Caludon centre even though I needed to see someone quite urgently. 2 appointments between June August were cancelled and re arranged for about 12 weeks later! So since my crisis in may where I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, I have seen one Dr in the Caludon centre, in July who was covering for another Dr who was off. This Dr made a few plans about getting me some psychotherapy and other things to look into. And il just point out I was actually pregnant at that one appointment so I had a lot of concerns and yet I was given an appointment that was cancelled yet again leaving me even more alone.

So when my august appointment was cancelled I was given another appointment for another 3 months later. So that's in November, still another few weeks from now. So 5 months between appointments is just not good enough. How are people supposed to get better when they are just left for months on end with no help.
