had to threaten to remove my wife myself after her having no proper treatment and absolutely no contact with the doctor despite being there several hours each and every day and repeatedly asking for information. No discharge was arranged until I challenged them despite her receiving no treatment, just a shambles, and then, and this is the scary bit, the doctor signed a DNR form with no reference to me or any member of the family against all the guidelines.
