"The nursing assessment for possible dementia for my mother"

About: Tolworth Hospital / Memory clinic

(as a relative),

I took my mother to Woodruff House in Tolworth Hospital for a first assessment for dementia. The nurse who conducted this assessment was kind tactful and reassuring. We both liked him very much.

I should also like to comment on the excellent facilities. The waiting room was not only clean and welcoming but it was also really warm which my elderly Mum particularly likes. it definitely made her more calm and accepting of the process.

Thanks to all concerned.

All very good in fact and very personal and unhurried.

Dear MaGra

My name is Claire and I am the administrator for the Patient Experience Team. Thank you for your kind words about the services at Woodroffe House. I am pleased that you found the nurse reassuring and that there were excellent facilities especially as this led to your mother feeling calmer about the process. I will pass on your comments to the team and staff involved.

Many thanks,

Claire
