"Positive birthing experience, faultless..."

We received excellent care from the maternity services at Scunthorpe General Hospital when our son was delivered here at the end of September. Our review relates to our experience on delivery suite, ward 26, transitional care and the BABES team. We found all staff that were involved in our care to be friendly, caring, professional and skilled and competent within their area of practice. This in turn lead us to feel safe and put our trust in the staff and their knowledge. We were treated with the upmost respect and with dignity by all. We were given all the information we required to make informed choices about our care and thus felt involved in all the decision making about our delivery. We received all the support we required with infant feeding.

All too often we hear negatives about the NHS but we can not thank you enough for the safe delivery of our son and positive birth experience. Special thanks to our Midwife.

In addition we found all facilities to be clean and the catering services of a high standard.
