Sent by GP for follow up X-ray following fractured femur sustained on August 18th. This visit on October 14 th was ordered as I have had increasing pain in the last 10 days. I was exrayed and seen by medical staff and was happy with the outcome and returned home.
Today I received a phone call from the hospital to say that following examination of yesterday's X-ray a further fracture was found. The hospital sent an ambulance for me and after triage a scan was performed, this confirmed earlier findings. Subsequently I was seen by relevant staff and all explained to me with an appointment for follow up at fracture clinic in two weeks time.
During all of this I was treated with respect and very very well looked after by all, so a big thank you and well done to all.
