"laparoscopy"

About: University Hospital Of Hartlepool

Had a laparoscopy 14th october 2015, although i was still a bit funny from the anesthetic or morphine i was given i was happy with how the staff were towards me, they had scanned my bladder to see if i had enough fluid to be able to use the rest room but becos i didnt have much they said i might have to stay in over night but that they would check, i managed to go after drinking a lot of water, but was then told i would have been able to go home anyway aslong as i drank plenty and if i wasnt able to use the bathroom to contact my gp on what to do , i noticed one of the dressings needed changing as i had 2 incisions and the nurse who i told sorted it to get a clean dressing on the one that needed it straight away, i was also given some spare dressing incase i needed to change them although was advised to try and keep original ones on for 7-10 then remove them to allow air to get to the stiches and fully heal the 2 wounds,,, i also fell asleep and didnt manage to eat any toast i was given so they brought me some biscuits to try and eat so that i had eaten something, i eventually managed to eat something so they were happy with what i had eaten to be discharged to come home,,, Overall very happy with treatment and the staff,
