About: Bishop Auckland Hospital

I was admitted to this hospital on 8th October 2015 as I was having a full hip replacement, from entering the ward at 6.45am when the night shift were coming to the end of the shift they were so pleasant and welcoming.

After just 2 hours I was ready to go to theatre I was taken by a lovely nurse who made me feel at ease, once into the theatre area it was so relaxing every one was so happy and made me feel at ease.

The care I received post op was second to none, every member of staff on that ward was the most caring people I have ever meet.

Meals were very very good, I am a very fussy eater but left none of the food that was put down in front of me. My discharge was done so quickly and smoothly.

This ward and its staff is a credit to the Hospital and the NHS more of the same in other hospitals would be great.
