"Recovery from knee replacement surgery"

About: Torbay Hospital

A huge thanks to the 'knee group' . I began Physio 5 days after surgery in early January 2015.

With the physio's skills and knowledge I was able to rehabilitate setting myself weekly goals. They gave me the confidence to continue taking the painkillers, and keep exercising.

If I had any concerns, they were very approachable, and gave sound advice. I continued exercises at home. My aims where to begin riding my recumbent trike by April, by May cycling the Blue Trail at Haldon and by September walking up and down Benn Rinnes (in Scotland). I have achieved all these goals in 9 months.
