"cancellation of operation"

My husband has had his operation cancelled 5 times!

This was due to administration errors and lack of beds.

I find this totally unacceptable. He is scheduled again on 16th October and I hope it will happen but won't hold my breath.

4 times he was ready to go into the operating theatre only to be told at the last minute that there were no beds available. His operation to rectify his aneurysm was considered to be urgent.

The hospital is putting his life at risk by bad administration.
