About: Tameside General Hospital

My father was discharged from A&E (after waiting 2 hours for an ambulance). he was sent home with antibiotics (even after having an xray that showed a shadow on his lung). 14 hours later we took him back again after he took ill... he was finally admitted to be told he had clots on his lung!!! how the heck can this happen!! he is elderly and lives alone and yet they sent him home!! disgusting!!

We would like to apologies for the poor service given in the A&E department. This is not the standard of nursing or medical care expected of the staff.
