"Rapid access"

I was referred to rapid access clinic by my GP after finding a lump in my neck.

The whole process from referral to removal was so quick and efficient. The surgical team were amazing, They were very professional and explained everything that would be happening to me during my op. When I was initially taken into theatre they put my mind at ease by making me laugh and keeping tight hold of my hand.

i was transfered to ward 28 after my op and I can not fault the care I was given. The ward was spotless and the nursing staff were attentive and caring.

The whole process initially had seemed terrifying but the fantastic care at Aintree hospital made it seem really not that bad.
