"Concern over visiting times on Ward 5"

Recently had a operation. I feel that the visiting times to Ward 5 need to be more strict.

Just got back up to the ward after my op and the person in the next bed had 2 visitors this was about midday (they were maybe there for about 15mins), then the woman across the room her visitor arrived at 1. 30pm and the woman next to me her other visitors arrived at 2pm and they arrived same time following day aswell. Just feel that people who have just had surgery are not getting the initial rest they need.

This is not the first time this has happened when I was in last year one woman had a visitor with her from 10am in the morning till 8pm at night (that patient was mobile). Her visitor was also eating bits of her and another patients meals. Unless their is a reason for it I feel that visiting times should be adhered too as patients to need their rest.

On a positive side Consultants, Doctors and Nurses on Ward 5 are first class
