"I was on the childrens ward of ..."

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was on the childrens ward of MDGH because of cellulitus in my face. I was in for 7 days and found my experience as good as a stay in hospital can be. I was 15 at the time and other children on the ward were alot younger so i was treated with upmost respect and was treated right for my age i.e. i was allowed to go outside to make phone calls, go to the shop e.c.t and when lights were turned off i could draw my curtains and have my own light on so i could watch a film e.c.t. The nurses were exceptionally helpful and always tried their best to not wake me when they changed my drip or anything else that had to be done.
