"Unexpected four day visit"

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

Our son has recently moved to London from Herefordshire.

He had to visit the hospital after feeling unwell for several days, phoning us from A&E to notify us. Our first reaction was to pack a bag and drive to the hospital to ensure he was OK.

We need not have worried as he was admitted to the Richmond ward, where he received excellent care for the duration of his stay.

This care was not restricted to only the medical staff, but from cleaners, the member of staff responsible for feeding him ( a full time task) and the health care assistant.

Our local hospital gives everyone cause for concern, but the care our son received from St George's proves that run correctly our NHS is still the best in the world.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments about your son's visit to A&E and stay on Richmond Ward. We are very pleased to read that his experience was a positive one.

We will pass your comments to the manager of the ward.
