"Poor customer service"

About: University Hospital Of Hartlepool

Came in yesterday to have my blood taken. Phlebotomist was rude. Did not respond to my attempts to make conversation. Did not make any attempt of making conversation themself. Snappy. Didnt even crack a smile. Didnt provide a caring or friendly service. Apart from that, there was nobody else waiting so was in and out within 15mins.

Dear Emma - we're sorry that, though you were seen quickly, you felt disappointed with your experience when you came in for a blood test recently. The phlebotomist will have been concentrating on the task in hand to provide a properly documented and good quality sample and this sometimes leads to limited conversation. We are sorry that the phlebotomist was snappy. Thank you for giving us this feedback which we will pass on.
