"My wife gave birth at William Harvey"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

My wife gave birth at William Harvey.

The midwife and their colleagues were very professional, and very caring.

My wife had had two births before - one went to emergency c-section, and one was planned c-section, but this birth we wanted to progress 'normally'.

We also lost our 18 month old son almost 2 years ago, and so we were understandably nervous that everything would go safely for both our baby and my wife.

The staff were brilliant, in particular the main midwife.

After the birth, they even managed to find my wife a side room, rather than having to stay on the ward and suffer the awkward questions about our son.

The midwife did this without us even asking.

The care my wife received on the Folkestone ward was also very good.

We have nothing but good words to say about the hospital.
