The whole hospital has a communication problem. The HCA's are running the place not the managers and they do not tell the service users the truth or If they do not know something they should say I will find out. They goad the service users which in my mind is disgusting .

They use the learning disability units as specialist Autism unit and the staff have no Idea. The hospital brochures say patient centred care that's a joke, they will not use system my son has used for years.

The whole hospital needs closing down its not fit for purpose on the so called Autism Ward.

We are very sorry to hear that this has been your experience of our service. We aim to communicate effectively, though we accept there may be times when this is not the case.

The Forensic Learning Disability Service is a specialist service and staff working within the autism wards have received specialist training and our aim is to deliver high quality services to our patients and their families.

If this has not been your experience then we would apprecialte the opportunity to discuss this further with you and want to assure you that we take all concerns raised very seriously.

As it is not clear exactly which ward this relates to we would welcome some more information so we can look into this further.
