My daughter was due to have an appointment with a Consultant in Paediatrics on 30th September. When we go there we were told that the appointment had been cancelled on 7th August. We didn't receive a letter or a text about this. We were told that the next available appointment wasn't until January but we should call in to see if there were any cancellations. I just tried to do this(as has my daughter), on the direct line that we were given The phone is not answered. I have now also called the main number and asked to be put through. As usual ( I say this as it seems normal with the reception staff) I was put through to the first extension they could think of and got through to the wrong department. When asked if they could put me through to paediatrics, they asked me if that was children!
My daughter has been diagnosed with Lupus and is struggling with pain and tiredness. I wish I could afford to go private as getting to speak with anyone at St Peters seems impossible. As I type this, I am continually ringing the latest extension number that I've been given and there is still no answer!
"How on earth do you get through to anyone on..."
