"Beckenham Beacon Clinic Outpatients department- Contraceptive Advice/Procedure"

I visited the walk in clinic last week at the Beckenham Beacon clinic.

I was pleasantly surprised by the kind, friendly and professional nature of the receptionist Amanda who was working that evening. Instantly I felt content being there as she was very helpful.

I did not have to wait long and was seen by a nurse Liz Connolly. Again I felt at ease right away because of the first impression Liz gave me as we greeted each other. I knew what contraception method I preferred before visiting the clinic but wanted to hear about other options that may suit me. Liz was patient in explaining the different types of contraception. I feel like Liz went above and beyond to help me with getting the right method.

I then saw Dr Clio who again went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable (I was quite nervous). Dr Clio was kind and cheerful, professional and kind and did not rush me even after fitting me in after her last appointment. Dr Clio is clearly very experienced. The healthcare assistant Christana was also doing her best to help me relax and did a great job.

Overall I would just like to say that this visit was the best I have had and 110 times better than the last time I had this procedure done.
