"Cannot Fault at all"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

I was admitted by Paramedics on 28th September following a fall at home which resulted in a badly broken leg.

The Paramedics and A &E staff (especially the consultant who was awesome!) were brilliant.

I was then moved to Ward 14 and then the Major Trauma Ward after my surgery.

The nurses, HCAs and physios on both wards were lovely and were very calm and patient with the other ladies on the ward, despite the challenges thrown at them.

Even when the shock of the accident set in and I had a slight meltdown, the staff coped with it brilliantly and were very understanding.

The staff made sure that everyone was treated with dignity and respect.

I cannot thank all the staff enough for looking after me so well.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us of your experience when you were recently admitted to the Royal Preston Hospital. It is always extremely pleasing to hear that the care and support received was of the high standard we aim to provide to all our patients. Please be assured that your kind comments have been shared with staff in the Emergency Department and wards concerned.
