I was referred by my GP in May 2015 and saw the consultant/registrar on 8th July 2015. It was decided then that I would have to undergo leproscopy and hysteroscopy for the severe pain I experience since 10 months (as of now). I was given consent form to bring along for my surgery on the appointment which would be in about 6 to 8 weeks. It's been three months but I havent heard from the consultant at all and on follow up the only status update is that they are awaiting for another consultant to agree on the surgery as the consultant I saw, looks after only cancer patients. i have been experiencing this pain and has worsened since I last saw the consultant. I have been to been induce lots of pain killers per day to keep my pain at a tolerable level by both A&E and GPs on my several visits to them.
GP has sent urgent referral requests due to my suffering but yet no response without even a single indication as to when I can receive an appointment. The pain affects my regular life but no one cares.
I strongly recommend that you avoid this hospital and its consultants if you have severe condition as treatment is not given on time and chances of things worsening are high.
"3 months and still no appointment"
