"Neurology Consultant and his team"

Having waited a long time to see a consultant at MMH I have been more than impressed with the two appointments I have recently had. The first appointment with the neurologist made me feel at last I was being listened to by someone who understood why my symptoms and the way they affect my life are so difficult at times.

I never expected to then be asked to attend another consultation with the top Consultant (as it were) so soon. The Consultant was amazing!!! They listened carefully to everything I had to say and repeated back to me what I had said which reassured me they understood exactly what I was trying to say. They asked for confirmation of different symptoms and explained all the way through the consultation what those symptoms meant and why they were happening. They were incredibly thorough in the examination but through out it all made me feel totally at ease and I genuinely felt that they understood how I felt.

I absolutely love the fact that they are not prepared to go on other doctors suggestions of what could be wrong etc and as they are now responsible for my care wants to start from the beginning and check things out for themselves. Yes that does mean a few extra tests and assessments but you know what that gave me great reassurance that at last I will get an absolute answer to my questions and the correct treatment plan will be achieved.

I have nothing but good things to say about my appointment today!!!
