"After several visits..."

About: The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (King's Lynn)

This hospital is very good. All staff are competent and as helpful as they can be. Both medical and non facilities are excellent. I base my assessment on several visits to Dermatology, Physiotherapy, Fracture clinic, Orthopaedic Surgical & Radiotherapy. The time taken to obtain referrals to specialists can be far too long, but I take this as a function of central government under-funding.

Thank you for posting your comments about the various services that you have encountered at this hospital. It is gratifying to hear that your overall experience has been good and I will be happy to feedback your comments to each of these departments. I am sorry that you have experienced waits in accessing some of these services. Access to services is influenced by a number of factors apart from general funding and referrals are prioritised dependent on the potential seriousness of the condition, the overall demand for that service and whether the service is part of an agreed overall patient pathway with other services.
