"Disgraceful"

About: St James's University Hospital

I would like to know how many failings it's possible to string together in the treatment of one individual. Firstly, can J45 actually monitor patients to stop them falling out of bed and indeed subsequently follow-up with appropriate scanning to check for head injuries as a result. Is it also possible that patients are not sent home before they are well enough to walk or have been sufficiently assessed despite it being a Friday and beds like to cleared for the weekend, do they not. We'll be in touch...

Dear suboptimal

I am sorry to read this, it does sound like a very poor experience and not at all the service we wish to offer. Please make contact with our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) team on 0113 2066261 or at patientexperience.leedsth@nhs.net to provide further details so that this episode can be investigated.

Kindest regards
