"The Proffessionalism and care ..."

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The Proffessionalism and care of the surgical team in plastics and the constant care of the nurses directly after surgery who were all so lovely was excellent. The the cleanliness of the side rooms directly after surgery instilled great confidence.

What could be improved

during transition to the ward ex-planation should be given to patients that care will be drastically reduced and is not quite as neccessary for whatever reason. Although the nursing and care was still excellent, when moving into side room it was reduced and when patients have been through a huge operation and are still very vulnerable it is hard to understand after the special care received for the first couple of days. Though compared to the 2 other Grtr Manchester hospitals where I have been a patient, Wythenshawe was way out in front in very single aspect from dignity and care to competency and sociability.
