"the doctor who saw my son when ..."

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

(as the patient),

What could be improved

the doctor who saw my son when he was rushed to hospital by ambulance following an football injury could had taken his injury seriously. my 15 yr old son was left being told he had a sprain on his knee when in actual fact he had unhappy triad injury. my son was given an appointment to return to hospital a week later and still was told he had a sprain. he was then sent to physiotherapy for 4 appointments in agony. we had to then seek our gp advice and a scan was booked for us at trafford general hospital. the results was devestating for my son. my child is still waiting to go into hospital for major surgery. wythenshawe hospital didnt pick up on his injury at all.

Anything else?

dont trust what you first here. if you are in doubt seek a second hospital visit. the doctor who dealt with my son was not bothered he was in totall agony or coulndt walk proparly or get around . he was left for weeks like that untill he went to a different hospital. he may never do the things he loves doing everyday again
