My father was treated and diagnosed with advanced bladder cancer at WGH three months ago and the treatment he has received from the urology ward and the cancer care nurses has been wonderful.
I had a problem last week when I could not get hold of a cancer care nurse or a secretary for Mr Halder on behalf of my Dad so after much thought and endless phone calls decided to speak to Mr Callaghers secretary Wendy. How lucky was I to find such a sympathetic and helpful person who listened to my plight and who without complaint acted on my behalf.
Because of Wendys wonderful intervention I now have a very happy Dad and a plan now in action so from the bottom of my heart Wendy thank you.
