What could be improved

I missed my first appointment through a poor postal service.

If the patient has an e-mail address, e-mail their appointment instead of using the postal service. This would be more reliable and less expensive.

Anything else?

I first went into Wythenshaw Hospital Christmas/New Year 2006/2007 for a By-pass operation. The consultant's team and all the nursing staff on Ward F1 were fantastic and I tell everyone it was the best Cristmas present I ever had.

Recently I had to return to Wythenshaw to have

an endartercectomy.

Once again,evryone involved, from consultant, registrars, the nursing staff, secretaries, even

down to the cleaning staff were faultless. So I can now tell everyone that Wythenshaw have given me the best Christmas and Birthday presents I have ever had

It's so easy for people to knock the NHS, I myself have nothing but praise for the service I have received. People should try meeting you half way.

I would be gratefull if you could make the consultant and his staff and especially everyone on Ward A3 aware to my thanks to them for all the help and TLC I received whilst I was in their care. I feel it's good for them to know that at least some people do really appreciate the hard work they do, with a smile, day in day out.
