Went to A&E with unexplained bleeding and pain. Was seen within 5 minutes and moved to majors. There was a little wait for a bed on D1 but A&E staff were brilliant, bringing me coffee and pain relief.
On D1 I was seen by more doctors very quickly and sent for endoscopy the next day. The staff on endoscopy were amazing, the procedure was not pleasant but they chatted to me and kept me calm throughout.
Discharged the next day after seeing the gastro team and given follow ups. Would highly recommend this hospital. Pain relief was given as soon as i asked, all tests were carried out quickly and results explained to me by the doctor actually carrying out the procedure. 5 stars all the way!
